How do I create a link in my page?
- In the Edit Window, select the text with your mouse that you want to be linked (or type in new text if required).

- Click on the "Link" icon on the toolbar. A pop-up window will appear. Procedure will now vary according to the type of link required.
- Link to an external website:
a) Select the Link Type: URL
b) Select the Protocol -- normally http://
c) Enter the URL (website address) required.
d) [ OK ]
- Link to a local page or file on the server:
a) Select the Link Type: URL
b) Select the Protocol -- other
c) If you know the page location, enter it in the URL field, starting with a forward slash ( / ) - for example /contact.php or /downloads/file/pdf/myfile.pdf
d) Alternatively click the Browse Server button. Locate and select the file you want in the explorer popup window that opens.
e) Click [ OK ] once you are back in the Link window.
- Link to an email address:
a) Select the Link Type: E-Mail
b) Enter the E-Mail Address
c) Enter a Message Subject - Optional (When visitors click on the link, a new message is opened up in their email client with this text in the subject line).
d) Enter a Message Body - Optional (When visitors click on the link, a new message is opened up in their email client with this text in the message body. Note that this function doesn't work with all email clients).
e) [ OK ]
- Link to an anchor (another part of the same page):
a) Select the Link Type: Link to anchor in the text.
b) If any anchors have been defined, they will appear in a drop down menu.
